Easter is early this year. With cool, but sunny weather and the odd April shower, swimmers have taken advantage of the lido’s the early spring opening. New mechanical cover have been helping to maintain the water temperature as well as providing a new place to take a selfie reflected in its shiny control box.
The cafe with a refreshed menu and new opening hours has been tempting swimmers with a post swim snack.
Generations of families have been making memories at our wonderful art deco lido. During every decade of its lifespan people have made friends, met partners, kept fit and healthy, recuperated from health scares, or simply swam for the pure joy of being able to swim in the fresh air.
