December 21st, the date of the Midwinter Solstice, heralds the shortest day and longest night of the year. With Christmas fast approaching we can reflect on what a glorious year it has been.

After the New Years celebrations and with days getting longer we can begin to look forward to the Lido’s new season. However the coming year, 2026, will be the Lidos 90th year. Will there be celebrations?
