The final event of the season has been the ever-popular dog swim. All year we have been fielding questions from doggie owners eager to know about swim dates for their furry friends. This much anticipated canine event finally took place after the last public swim of the season, over the second weekend of September. For three days people brought their dogs of all breeds along to swim and have fun together.
There were a variety of pet stalls, selling pooch related products, a first aider on hand and doggie life jackets available. The Lido Café was open, for hot drinks and snacks including puppuccinos and doggie ice-creams. For once, the no running, no diving, no bombing, rules did not apply and dogs enjoyed jumping. Splashing, swimming, exercising, and playing in the paddling pool, the teaching pool, and the main pool, with their owners. Lots of fun was had by all and many new furry friendships were formed over the three days.
