On Monday September 7th, the sun was very warm but the cool breeze was an indication of the arrival of Autumn. It was also the morning of FoPL members post season swim. A good number of our members came along to take advantage of the sun and the sparkling warm water for their last dip of the season and a chance to meet up with old and new friends.
Despite sadness that this was our last swim of the season, there was a lovely upbeat social atmosphere, with some members bringing cakes and biscuits to add to those contributed by FoPL.
A special thank you Staff and Lifeguards for making it possible and to those FoPL volunteers who helped with setting up and managing the entrance for the event .
